Welcome to Kidology

I'm Kate Nicolle, mum to two little boys, founder of Kidology and a parenting consultant, parenting guru, troubleshooter, supernanny, to be honest I don't like any of those job titles. A client once described me as 'a modern Mary Poppins' which made me smile and feels more like it!

Let's get straight to the nitty gritty, my job is to help you feel more confident in your role as a parent. Parenting books are only helpful to a point, they are very generic and sometimes you need help that is more bespoke and personal, help from a modern Mary Poppins maybe!

My approach is positive, practical and empathic. I aim to help you to feel comfortable with your own mothering style, we all do it differently and so we should! Every child is different too, even from their siblings and I will help you to find the best way forward to solve your problem. It is not my job to judge you on any level, but simply to give you valuable help, advice and support tailored to your specific situation.

I will advise on routines, strategies, parenting tools etc to suit you as an individual, your child and your family dynamic. You need a unique solution. No one generic approach can be the right one for everyone.
